Returns

When can I return an item?


You can return a damaged or defective item as long as it is within 28 days from the day you received it, is free from marks and retains all the original packaging. When returning an item any promotional items must be returned along with them. You should inspect all items on receipt for defect or damage.
Non faulty items may be returned within 28 days. Items must be unused and in original packaging in re-saleable condition. Returned items may be subject to a restock charge of up to 15%

Warranty Return, Repair & Exchange.


Commercial Machines
All our commercial equipment is coveredby a 12 month warranty, 3 months on gun, lance and hoses.
All our Domestic equipment is covered by between 12-36 months warranty (dependant on product), 3 months on gun, lance and hoses.
All machines are covered with a 12 month back to base warranty but an on site warranty can be purchased separately and where possible all commercial machines will be attend by our own field service engineers.

Out of Warranty - No Problem
We can also look after your machine after the warranty period, either through a maintenance contract or simply when needed, on site or in our workshop.

Domestic Machines
All our Domestic equipment holds between 12-60 months warranty, 3 months on gun, lances, and hoses. Domestic machines may be sent back to our premises where they will be assessed for warranty.
Alternatively, we may be able to advise of a local Karcher partner service centre who will be authorised to carry out this work.
Any machines that have been misused or abused will not be covered.

Return FAQs


Do I have to pay to return an item?
You will need to cover the cost of returning an item to us. If your item is faulty/damaged we will reimburse your postage costs once the item has been accepted at our office as a return.

How long does a refund/exchange take?
From being received at our warehouse your return should take no longer than 48 hours* to be processed. Refunds will show in your account up to 48 hours later and exchanges should be received 3-5 working days later.

How can I return an item?
We recommend returning your item via Royal Mail. When sending an item back please ensure it is adequately insured as we are not liable for items until they are signed for at our offices.

Can I return an item in person?
Of course. We can accept returns, deal with exchanges and refunds at Karcher Center STS.
